Hakone
Tuesday, Manboy went sightseeing around Hakone which is in the Kanto Region - coastal plain including Tokyo and Yokohama. Hakone is best accessed from Odawara where Manboy is staying. From Odawara, the Hakone-Tozan Line continues into various resort towns in Hakone. It's 90kms west of Tokyo Metropolis.Both Japanese and foreigners go to Hakone to relax, for treatment at the health resorts, or to enjoy the parks and mountains. With Mt. Fuji in the background and placid Lake Ashi, Hakone is surrounded by scenic mountains and boasts abundant hot springs, zoological gardens and museums.
Although there was a chance of rain, it doesn't appear to have rained with average temperature of 26 degrees Celcius and high humidity under scattered clouds.
